Hearts deny Sunderland interest in Mahatma

Accra giants Hearts of Oak have revealed no official offer has come from Sunderland or Olympique Lyon for their captain Mahatma Otoo.

Media reports are rife that the in-form goal poacher is being monitored by the English Premier League and French Ligue 1 outfits.

However, the spokesperson of the Phobians Muheeb Saeed said they are yet to hear from any potential suitors for the 21-year-old marksman.

“We as a club have received no offers for the services of Mahatma Otoo,” Saeed told Accra-based Hot FM.

“If anything at all, it will be at a personal level where a club might have made a personal contact with the player or his manager. But as a club, no official interest has been registered,” he added.
