UK Firms Join Ghana's Construction Industry

P.W. (GHANA) Ltd is a newly established civil engineering and building contracting firm with strong links and wide experience over the last twenty years in neighbouring West African countries.

Talking to newsmen at the Ghana-UK Trade Exhibition, Messrs B. Reynolds, plant services manager and Ken Switzer, director of P.W. Ghana Ltd. said to help his company make the necessary impact in its operations in the country, technical and financial support is readily available through the P.W. Group with offices in the UK and Ireland.

Giving a brief history of the company's activities in infrastructure development, Messrs Switzer and Reynolds said P.W. has been involved in many prestigious projects, helping to improve industry with the construction of airports, large factories Liquid Gas Depots and Telecommunication base stations.

P.W. is among the world leaders in the provision of water supplies and the removal of waste: two of the most central activities of most modern living. Currently in Abuja, Nigeria, P.W. is laying a 60-kilometre of 1000mm diameter ductile iron pipes along with associated storage reservoirs, pump stations and treatment plants.
