GOIL launches new products

Ghana Oil Company Limited has introduced its new range of lubricants onto the Ghanaian market to help protect automobile engine parts.

The new products, which come in attractively designed four-liter gallons, are GOIL Supper Taxi, GOIL Heavy Duty, Power Trotro and GOIL Power 4WD.

Another amazing product which will attract the attention of drivers is the new synthetic oil, a lubricant consisting of chemical compounds that are artificially made and known to be very good for operations in extreme temperatures.

A team of managers from GOIL joined television stars to visit some main lorry stations in Accra.

The team’s first port of call was the Accra Central Business Centre where drivers received free gifts after patronizing products under the Goil ‘Gye Wo Dea’ promotion.

The team’s tour ended at the Neoplan Station near the Kwame Nkrumah Circle.

Berlinda Boadi, Lubricant Manager at GOIL, explained that the synthetic oil have the ability to protect the vehicle for about six months.

She explained that the existing products of GOIL will remain on the market as “they are for specific cars.”

Patrick Akorli, Managing Director of GOIL, noted that his outfit decided to introduce new products to provide the public with quality and trusted brands.

“Because the sector is deregulated, people bring in all kinds of products including fake and substandard ones,” he said.

Mr Akorli noted that GOIL spent two years researching “to come out with the best, well formulated product designed for specific vehicles.”

On affordability, he stressed: “It is our aim to ensure the public gets best products at the right prices. We are the biggest oil company in Ghana and for over 50 years we have not failed our customers.”
