Paintsil denies Hapoel release claim

The Public Relations Officer of Ghana defender John Painstil has rubbished media reports that Hapoel Tel Aviv have terminated the contract of the Ghanaian.

Ebenezer Aidoo stated there is no iota of truth in the report.

“The story is a lie, they have not release Paintsil,” he told Kumasi-based Hello FM. “It is false. People should debunk it and treat it with contempt.”

“Paintsil has contract with Hapoel to June 30. It is not even on the club’s website, what multi-media is reporting is wrong, what the PRO of Hapoel said was they will sit down with John when he comes back to Israel.”

Accra-based Joy FM spoke with Rotem Grossman, the spokesperson of Hapoel Tel Aviv, who confirmed the news of contract termination.
