Gawu set to join Okwahu United

Former Hearts striker Eric Gawu is on the verge of joining Okwahu United after agreeing a one-year contract.

The 29-year-old has been without a club since he left Israeli side Bnei Sakhin last year.

The former King Faisal hitman who was targeted by Medeama has opted to sign for the second-tier side in a move to revive his flagging career.

United will rely on the experience of the striker in their quest to return to the top of Ghana football after a seven-year absence.
