Yahaya Mohammed denies bribery claims

Amidaus Professionals midfielder Yahaya Mohammed has denied being bribed by Berekum Chelsea President Emmanuel Kyeremeh.
The bankroller of the Blues has been accused of trying to bribe players of the Premier League new entrants to throw their Week 17 fixture which Chelsea won by a lone goal on Sunday.
Amidaus President Alhaji Baba Gado said: “I have numerous evidences, some of the players he tried to bribe with money told me; they are my witnesses. I will send Mr. Kyeremeh and his team Berekum Chelsea to the FA.”
But one of the players cited as one of the witnesses, Yahaya Mohammed claims he has absolutely no idea of the allegations being made by his club President.
“I have not received any phone call from Mr. Kyeremeh telling me to play it soft against them for money,” he said.
“I am only focused on playing my football and nothing more and therefore know nothing about this.”
The allegation made is likely to catch the attention of the Ghana FA’s Ethics Committee for a logical conclusion of the case.
