Mahama directs all boards to remain in caretaker positions

President John Mahama has directed that for the orderly conduct of Government business, all statutory Boards whose tenure of office has expired should be in caretaker positions until substantive boards are established.

In the spirit of the Transition Act, the Boards shall not take decisions involving a policy issue, sign any major agreement or engage in any significant financial transaction without clearance from the Office of the President.
