Agyemang Badu: Kotoko is in my blood

Ghana’s midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has reaffirmed his deep love and affection for defending league champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko. The Udinese of Italy enforcer stated that he loves Kotoko so much and he believes Kotoko is in his blood.

The former Brekum Arsenals player featured briefly for Kotoko before embarking on his European sojourn which has now seen him become an integral member of the Italian Serie A side.

The influential Black Stars midfielder however says he still dreams about Kotoko, a club he was fond memories for, “I still follow Kotoko even though I’m far from home,” he said.

Badu noted that because of his love for Kotoko, he regularly makes time to check on the performance of his darling club anytime he gets the opportunity, indicating that his love for the club hasn’t waned one bit.

He acknowledged that even though Kotoko’s current form is not what the fans want, he knows without a shared of doubt that they will bounce back to occupy the top of the league table where they truly belong.

“There is light at the end of the tunnel so I’m appealing to fans of club to remain patient.” Badu therefore entreated the teeming red army of Kotoko to rally behind the team in these difficult times.
