'NPP to pursue sound policies to transform the economy'

Mr Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, Minority Leader and Member of Parliament (MP) for Suame, has said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would pursue sound economic policies to transform the lives of Ghanaians if given the mandate to lead the nation on December 7.

He said an NPP government will grow businesses to create jobs and wealth for the people.

The MP made this declaration when he addressed separate political rallies at Nkontwima and “Abaawa Ruth” communities in the constituency on Thursday.

Mr Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu asked voters to reject the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) for its failed economic policies, corruption and bad governance that had brought untold hardships.

He told the constituents not allow themselves to be influenced with money and freebies but to exercise their franchise based on their conscience.

The MP said his party’s drumbeat, the free Senior High School (SHS) policy, was not a mere campaign ploy to win votes but something they were going to implement without fail, and asked the people to disregard the “ugly noises” from the NDC.

"The NPP under Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo would run an open, transparent and incorruptible administration"' he said.

Mr Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu assured the people that he would continue to work hard to bring development to the area.

He urged the people to go out in their numbers on December 7 to vote for him and Nana Akufo-Addo.
