They claim swag but it’s just a twin to wacky – Swag Kid challenges

Over the weekend, the new kid on the block Swag Kid released his second freestyle video ‘Mercy Cover’ on YouTube. The young rapper who turned 12 on Friday, the 16th of November says as far as he can make one déjà vu, his age shouldn’t be a factor to hinder his glory.

Strongly, he believes that the lyric in his Mercy cover is above standard hence he wants to take on BIG shows. “Without bragging, I am better than some rappers I see on big shows and their claimed swag is just a twin to wacky.” Swag Kid throws a challenge.

Known in real life as Ese Emokiniovo, Swag Kid is a pupil at the Osu Presbyterian preparatory school. The young lad discovered his talent at age seven and writes his lyrics by himself. Being the last born of seven children, the Emokiniovo family supports the boy’s endeavor.

The ‘Walai Talai’ kid says his inspiration comes from God and that he can achieve his dream through Christ Jesus. “Yeah my family and Manager have being so supportive but trust me, all they do for me is already written in heaven. It’s my time to shine and with His Mercy cover on me, am taking on Africa by storm” he added.

Speaking to Ernest Setor, his manager, he says for four years he’s been searching for good and row talent but he was surprise to find what he seeks in an eleven years boy. “He’s not just a rapper but knows more about his chosen career. The boy is so intelligent and to quote his words to why he’s rapping he said; “am not doing this because I want to be a star, I chose raps because I want to be a brand that people will run to, a reference that remains forever.” With such dream, I was left with no option than to be on board.” Manager reveals.

Swag Kid is currently working on his new single.
