Visa fraud at NDC headquarters

The Daily Searchlight has uncovered a ring operating out of the headquarters of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) under the very nose of the General Secretary, Asiedu Nketia in visa racketeering. And it is all on tape!

The hoodlums are using official party documentations as well as government documentation to illegally channel prospective immigrants out of Ghana in exchange for what they described as “Obama” (America dollars).

Shockingly, there are clear indications that the lawless crew even sometimes procures Ghanaian passports for non-Ghanaians to enable them travel as part of official government delegation outside the country.

Daily Searchlight investigations at NDC headquarters revealed that the visa racketeers are charging anything between $2000.00 to as much as $7500.00 per passenger. The amount charged depends on the final venue of the prospective travellers.

The racket, we have learnt, involves anybody who is in the party and a significant number of ministers, deputy ministers and others who often travel on official delegations.

The Daily Searchlight has been informed the racket is simplicity itself. The NDC party, we have learned, is affiliated to several international agencies which often invite the party for programmes.

According to the deep throat sources, the party should have been taking foot-soldiers on these trips abroad as a way of compensating them for the hard work that they do for the party, but some 'greedy bastards' within the party's hierarchy have turned this into an opportunity to recruit people in exchange for 'Obama' dollars.

This newspaper has been reliably informed that several ministers of state who are going on official government trips also allow prospective travellers to be put on their itinerary in exchange for financial gain.

All this is happening with the full knowledge of party executive, this newspaper has been informed.
