"Desperate" NPP has ran out of ideas - Quashigah

The ruling National Democratic Congress says the actions of the New Patriotic Party smacks of desperation.

According to the Propaganda Secretary of the NDC, the NPP has ran out of ideas and has resorted to using foul means to put pressure on President Mahama.

The opposition NPP has charged President John Mahama to retrieve all monies paid to foreign company Waterville as judgment debt.

Its General Secretary Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie in a statement said the government under late President Mills paid illegal judgment debts of over 35 million euros to the company under the pretext of a breach of contract.

According to Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, the NPP wants the President to prove that he is really committed to fighting corruption by retrieving the money as early as possible.

But the Propaganda Secretary of the NDC Richard Quashigah in an interview with XYZ News said the NPP and its General Secretary has no campaign message for Ghanaians.

“Sir John has become a law unto himself and now he represents the judiciary and determines cases, draws conclusions and therefore sentences people and has the audacity to say that”.
