Rawlings will never abandon NDC - Justice Kpegah

A former Supreme Court Judge, Justice F.Y Kpegah says those who think ex-president Rawlings was giving pre-conditions for his comeback must read in-between the lines.

According to Justice Kpegah, former President Rawlings’s speech at the NDC's congress represents a giant step towards a united party.

Justice Kpegah expressed confidence that Mr. Rawlings will campaign for the NDC ahead of the December 2012 polls.

“Jerry is somebody who plays poker with his ideas, he speaks in parables. Jerry won’t abandon the party” Justice Kpegah said.

The retired Supreme court Judge added that “he [Rawlings] poured out his heart and appeared to be giving out conditions but he was not actually giving conditions for his coming back but he just wanted to bear his concerns in parables”.

“Jerry would campaign [for NDC] I am not his spokesperson but I am very positive that within his heart he loves NDC.

“He even called on those in the Diaspora to come down and campaign and not wait for others to campaign for them”.
