Akaminko joins Eskisehirspor

Black Stars defender Jerry Akaminko has completed his switch from Turkish lower division side Manisaspor to top-flight club Eskisehirspor in a 3-year deal worth €1.35m, footy-Ghana.com can confirm.

The 24-year-old former Kpando Heart of Lions centre back's move was confirmed on Manisaspor's official website on Monday;

"The club have reached an agreement with Eskisehirspor over the transfer of professional footballer Jerry Akaminko.

"The club will like to thank Akaminko for his services and we wish him success in his career."

Akaminko's sterling performance earned him 28 appearances for Manisaspor in last season's Turkish Super Lig but the club were relegated at the end of the season.
