Ofosu-Ampofo donates to Muslim communities

Mr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Tema West on Friday presented 10 bags of sugar to two Muslim Communities within the Constituency to assist them in their Ramadan fasting.

Each of the two beneficiary communities at Communities Four and Five also received a cash donation of 500 Ghana Cedis.

Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo, who is also the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, urged Muslims to use Ramadan to pray for peace and stability in the country and appealed to them to offer special prayers for the repose of the soul of the late President, Professor John Evans Atta Mills.

Mallam Sualihu Bancey, Elder of the Muslim Community in Community Four, and Alhaji Abubakari Babamma, Chief Imam of Muslims in Community Five, received the gifts on behalf of their colleagues, and thanked the Parliamentary Candidate for the gesture.**
