National Paramount Queen Mother’s console Dr Naadu Mills

The National Paramount Queens Mother’s Association of Ghana has expressed sympathy and deepest condolence to Dr Ernestina Naadu Mills on the death on President John Atta Mills.

President John Atta Mill’s death occurred at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra on Tuesday afternoon while receiving medical attention after being taken ill a few hours earlier.

A statement issued in Accra by Pognaba Namalteng Danig Sugri I, National President, said “we mourn with you in this tough and challenging moment and assure you of our warmth consolation, support and deepest condolence.”

It described the late President as a father of the nation with an exemplary stature of high emotional intelligence, humble and respectful which endeared the heart of all.

The statement noted that the late President Mills outstanding and enviable character exuded an almost absolute peaceful environment which was felt not only in the country but the whole of the West African Sub Region.

“His Excellence Professor John Evans Atta Mills deserves at this moment an honourable atmosphere of peace and co-existence as we join hands to mourn and bid him farewell,” it added.

The Association also congratulated President John Dramani Mahama and urged him to let God rule through him and he should seek wise and good counsel to move the nation forward.**
