Nyantakyi says camping is South Africa very useful

President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi has said that the Black Stars training camp in South Africa this week has been 'helpful' to the squad.

The Black Stars have been in camp in South Africa in preparation towards Saturday's 2014 World Cup qualifier against Zambia, in Ndola.

The GFA President said the training camp has given the squad the needed concentration and preparation for the game.

"The camp here in Johannesburg has been very useful and helpful. The players had the needed peace of mind to prepare for the game," Nyantakyi said in a release issued by the GFA Communication team to the GNA Sports

“We provided everything the squad needed to make them ready to take on the Zambians and we are positive going into the game."

The Black Stars will face the Chipolopolo in Ndola, and their training camp has put them in the right shape for the game.

Ghana are currently top of Group D after their emphatic 7-0 win over Lesotho in their opening game in the group at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi last week.

Zambia, the African champions, lost 0-2 to Sudan in the group's other game.**
