Rev. Mensah Otabil honored

The Senior Pastor of the Central Gospel Church (ICGC), REV. Doctor Mensah Otabil, has been honored at a ceremony in Accra for his confident display of the African heritage.

According to organizers who also used the opportunity to launch Africa Day Festival to honor distinguished personalities who has appreciated the African heritage over the years with his or her consistency in the display of their pride as an African.

This also includes personalities always found in an African wear everywhere they go, which also makes the African wear very marketable to the outside world.

Events and Promotions Manager, Adfirst Consult, Joshua K. Nyamavor, said as a people, we need to appreciate our identity and develop it well enough for the inheritance of our future generations.

He said Adfirst Consult is establishing Africa Day Festival, to be celebrated annually with each year focusing on a sector to promote and market Ghana in a positive light.

According to him, the annual celebration of the Africa Day Festival serves as a great platform to unveil the opportunities in our heritage whiles its beauty attracts and promotes the tourism industry.

He urged entrepreneurs and investors to take the business advantage of the celebration, making it a great source of employment to our people in reducing the poverty level on the continent.

Representative of Rev. Otabil, Madam Felicia Owusu Amoabeng, thanked Adfirst Consult for the honor and wished them well in their future programmes.**
