Karim Alhassan set to be loaned out by Zamalek

Footy-ghana.com understands that former Hearts of Oak captain Karim Alhassan could be loaned out by Egyptian giants Zamalek following the signing of Burkinabe striker Abdoulaye Cisse from El Masry.

According to media reports monitored by footy-ghana.com, Cisse replaces Ahmed Mido, who has been released by the club after playing only four matches.

Zamalek now has four non-Egyptians in the squad namely Cisse, Benin striker Razak Omotoyossi, Cameroon midfielder Alexis Mendomo and Alhassan, but only has a quota for three foreign players.

Alhassan has barely played since signing for Zamalek and head coach Hassan Shehata is said to be reluctant to completely axe him, fearing that he would be questioned for signing a player he barely used. Alhassan may face the prospect of being loaned out by the club.

He has only represented Zamalek in a centenary celebration match against Atletico Madrid.
