GFA Executive Committee set for emergency meeting

Footy-ghana.com understands that the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association is set for an emergency meeting tomorrow at the GFA headquarters.

According to our sources, the main issues for discussion include the appointment of a new head coach for the Black Stars and the fallout from the revelation that West Head Company may or may not have brokered the impending $3 million sponsorship deal for the Black Stars from the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).

Footy-ghana.com has also learnt that the Executive Committee is determined to name a new national coach by Wednesday April 11 2012.

Our sources reveal that a slight majority of Executive Committee members are pushing for ex-Paris Saint Germain head coach Antoine Kombouare to get the job, whilst a few others favour the appointment of France legend Marcel Desailly.
