First Capital Plus, a Savings and Loans Company has launched a corporate blog; blog.firstcapitalplus.net with the theme; “Knowledge, fun, inspiration” in line with its strategic focus of bringing the brand closer to its stakeholders.

First Capital Plus seeks to use the blog to offer both academic and practical business knowledge aimed at developing the intellectual capital of readers. The blog is also to provide knowledge to enhance holistic personal development in line with the company’s positioning of “seeing lives”.

According to Stephan Antoh, Executive Manager for Corporate Affairs, Legal & Human Resources, “we just want to provide an avenue for knowledge dissemination for academic, professional and personal purposes”.

Mr. Antoh also stated that First Capital Plus sees the need to give a human face to the brand and encourage fluid communication with all stakeholders in order to move the brand from opaqueness to transparency and from the rigidity associated with just having a corporate website.

The blog also seeks to inspire and energize readers towards the achievement of their goals through weekly motivational messages with the theme; inspiration.

In the words of Nana Yaw Kesse, Corporate Affairs Officer, “The blog is only our creation but we don’t own it, the true owners are our stakeholders as it’s an avenue for all of us to interact, share knowledge, inspire ourselves and have fun”.
The blog is just one of many strategic moves the company is embarking on to bring the brand much closer to its stakeholders as it prepares to enter another phase in its rapid growth.

In a related development, the second edition of the company’s innovative newsletter; “FCP Quarterly Digest” will be released in the first week of April, 2012.
