Gt. Accra RFA issues disciplinary decisions

The Disciplinary Committee of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association has issued decisions after ruling on on protests filed by Division Two clubs.

Case: F.C. Broncos protested against Al-Sadd S/C for not presenting their duly registered strip

Decision

In light of the findings above, the Committee decides as follows:

1. That Al-Sadd S/C having been found to have breached Articles 17(6) and 34(1) (L) of the Regulations shall forfeit the match in question. 2. That Al-Sadd is declared loses of the said match and accordingly 3 points and 3 goals shall be awarded in favour of F/C Broncos in line with Article 34(4) (b) of the Regulations. 3. That in addition, Al-Sadd S/C shall lose 3 points from its accumulated points in line with Article 34(4) (b) of the GFA Regulation. 4. That Al-Sadd S/C is hereby fine GH¢30.00.

Case:Y. F. Juventus S/C claim against Dansoman United for failing to attend the pre-match (technical) meeting and also for not presenting their duly registered strip

Decision

The Committee therefore makes the following decisions:

1. That Dansoman United having been found to have breached Articles 17(6) and 34(1) (l) of the GFA Regulations shall forfeit the match. 2. That Dansoman United is declared loses of the said match and 3 points and 3 goals is hereby awarded in favour of Y. F. Juventus per Article 34(4) (b) of the Regulations. 3. That Dansoman United shall further lose 3 points from its accumulated points in line with Article 34(4) (b) of the Regulation. 4. That Dansoman United is hereby fine GH¢30.00.

Case:Bravo, Bravo F.C. protested against Platinum F.C. for using blue and white colour jerseys instead of their duly registered blue colour jersey

Decision

The Committee in light of the findings decides as follows:

1. That Platinum F/C having been found to have breached Articles 17(1) (a), 17(5) and 34(1)(k) of the GFA Regulations shall forfeit the match. 2. That Platinum F/C is hereby declared loses of the match in accordance with Article 34(4) (b) and accordingly 3 points and 3 goals is hereby awarded to Bravo, Bravo F.C. 3. That Platinum F/C shall further lose 3 points from its accumulated points in line with article 34(4) (b). 4. Platinum F/C is hereby fine GH¢30.00.

Case:Stark F.C. protested against Port of Tema F.C. on two grounds: 1. For fielding an unqualified player in the person of Samuel Coffie (the player) who they claim had received three (3) yellow cards prior to playing the match

2. For not paying a fine owed to the RFA due on February 16, 2012

Decision

In light of the findings, the Committee makes the following decisions:

1. The protest by Shark F.C. will succeed. 2. Port of Tema F.C shall forfeit the match and is hereby declared losers of the said match in accordance with Articles 34(1) (g), 34(1)(n) and 39(8)(b) of the GFA Regulations. 3. In accordance with Articles 34(2) and 34(10) of the GFA Regulations, Shark F.C. is hereby awarded 3 points and 3 goals. 4. That Port of Tema shall further lose 3 points from its accumulated points in line with Article 34(5) (a) of the GFA Regulation. 5. Port of Tema is fined GH¢100.00 to be paid to the RFA within fourteen days upon their receipt of the ruling out of which RFA shall pay GH¢50.00 to Shark F.C. 6. In addition, Port of Tema F.C. shall pay GH¢30.00 to the RFA which shall be paid to Stark F.C as its transportation expenses as the away team.

Case: Kwadjan Soccer Academy protested against Pokuase United for failing to attend the pre-match (technical) meeting and also for not presenting their duly registered strip preceding their league match

Decision

The Committee therefore makes the following decisions:

1. That Pokuase United having been found to have breached Articles 17(6) and 34(1)(l) of the GFA Regulations shall forfeit the match. 2. That Pokuase United is declared loses of the said match and 3 points and 3 goals is hereby awarded in favour of Kwadjan Soccer Academy per Article 34(4)(b) of the Regulations. 3. That Pokuase United shall further lose 3 points from its accumulated points in line with Article 34(4)(b) of the Regulation. 4. That Pokuase United is hereby fine GH¢30.00.

Case: Accra Celtic F.C. protested against Super Wonders F.C. for fielding an unqualified player in the person of Isaac Yeboah Boateng

Decision

In light of the findings, the Committee makes the following decisions:

1. The protest by Accra Celtic will succeed. 2. Super Wonders shall forfeit the match and it is hereby declared losers of the said match in accordance with Articles 34(1)(g), 34(1)(n) and 39(8)(b) of the GFA Regulations. 3. In accordance with Articles 34(2) and 34(10) of the GFA Regulations, Accra Celtic is hereby awarded 3 points and 3 goals. 4. That Super Wonders shall further lose 3 points from its accumulated points in line with Article 34(5)(a) of the GFA Regulation. 5. Super Wonders is fined GH¢100.00 to be paid to the RFA within fourteen days upon their receipt of the ruling out of which RFA shall pay GH¢50.00 to Accra Celtic.

Case: F.C. Nima protested against Fire Service F.C. for fielding player by name Ebenezer Doku. F.C.

Decision

In light of the fact above, the Committee decides as follows:

1. That the protest by F.C. Nima is hereby dismissed as being without merit.. 2. That accordingly the results of the match (1-1) shall stand. 3. Cost of GHc20.00 is awarded against F.C. Nima.

Case: Accra Celtic F.C. protested against Kutunse Great United for fielding an unqualified player in the person of Atiagli Nelson

Decision

In light of the fact above, the Committee decides as follows:

1. That the protest by Accra Celtic is hereby dismissed as being without merit. 2. That accordingly the results of the match (1-0 in favour of Kutunse Great United) shall stand. 3. Cost of GHc20.00 is awarded against Accra Celtic.
