An Aide to the Member of Parliament for Jomoro in the Western Region, Peter Anderson, has admitted that the current troubles in the Jomoro District are being fomented by Madam Samia Yaba Nkrumah, mainly to win her votes ahead of the 2012 December Parliamentary polls.

In a secret tape intercepted by this reporter, Andreson hinted that his boss (Madam Samiah) is the architect and financier of all the tensions and threats that is being championed by the Omanhene of the Jomoro Traditional Council, Awulae Annor Adjei III, and his rebellious youth groups, who have been agitating over the relocation of the Gas Infrastructural Plant from Domunli to Atuabo in the Ellembelle District by the Ghana Gas National Gas Company Limited.

The aide, also disclosed that the recent massive demonstration and Press conference held by the Omanhene and his youth against the Chief Executive of the Ghana National Gas Company, Dr. George Sipa Yankey at the forecourt of the Western regional House of Chiefs where about 200 youths were bused from Jomoro to Takoradi to protest and register their displeasure, was fully sponsored and paid for by Madam Samia. Mr. Anderson who also doubles as the Assembly Member for Benyin Electoral Area in the Jomoro District made these bizarre comments at a gathering in Benyin last week.

He told the gathering that Madam Samia would do all in her capacity as their MP to ensure that the Gas project is taken back to the people of Jomoro from Ellembelle by all means. He added that all the media reports that is being circulated are all paid for by Madam Samia which is aimed at thwarting the chances of Nzema from getting what is legally expected of them and also paint a bad image of the government to the whole world for being insensitive and unfair to them.

“All the media guys you see coming here each and every day to interview you are all from the expenses of our MP and have promised to do more until the right thing is done by those thieves,” he stressed.

The mouth rick Aide further reiterated that his outfit through the guidance and support from Madam Samia will forever ensure that Jomoro becomes the next ‘Niger Delta’ of Ghana which would be characterized by frustrations and chaos moments in the area so far as they are maintained as both MP and Assembly member respectively.

Mr. Anderson indicated that the youth from the area will make sure the gas project which is slated to start operations by the end of this year is stampeded by delays and other activities that would discourage engineers from locating the plant in Ellembelle. “We will put in place strategies that would ensure the mobilization of the necessary resources and funds to make sure that the said agenda is achieved by all means.”

The meeting was highly attended by the Omanhene of the area and his other sub chiefs as well as some rank and file of the opposition CPP and NPP.
