NPP’s level of thinking is too weak – Agyenim Boateng

A deputy minister of information, James Agyenim Boateng, has rubbished a purported document titled ‘’Agenda for Victory 2012’’ alleged to belong to the ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC).

The document, containing lots of grammatical errors, chronicles supposed plots by the National Democratic Congress to divert attention from the Woyome scandal and subsequently to rig elections 2012.

The document, said to be authored by two unnamed professors and one Dr. Kunto spells out how the NDC is allegedly planning to use the infamous MV Benjamin cocaine case to divert attention from the controversial Woyome saga; how to alter the biometric registration process, especially in the Ashanti Region, the stronghold of the NPP; malign the NPP flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo all in attempt by the NDC to retain power in the 2012 elections.

The New Patriotic Party claims to have intercepted the document and has accused the governing National Democratic Congress of authoring it. But Mr Agyenim Boateng says the document lacks credibility and could be one of the various mischief’s of the NPP.

‘’The NPP itself has a record. It has a record of tossing into the public domain non-existent documents. You may recall that just ahead of the 2008 elections, we were told of a supposed hit list and that all those people whose name were on the list, if the NDC comes into power, we were going to see their demise. The NDC has entered into its third year in office and not one single person on that hit list has been hit’’.

‘’ Again, not too long ago, we were told of a supposed NYEP list on which journalist from Northern Ghana has been put and were receiving monthly payment from government. At the end of the day when that was checked, it turned out to be a hoax. The account numbers were non-existent, the individuals on the list came out openly said that they were not recipients of any such money from government.’’

‘’I think that this much I do about nothing. It’s indicative of an inefficient, inept and an incompetent opposition. Even when they decide to do mischief, the level of thinking that goes into it is so weak that it reveals their diabolical agenda,’’ he said.
