Ghana prepared for penalty kicks

Goran Stevanovic says his team is prepared to go the full mile in their quarter-final clash against Tunisia at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.

Even though the first-two games of the knockout round has been determined within normal regulation time, the Black Stars are prepared for the likelihood of their match travelling beyond extra-time.

“Yes, when I say we would be ready for the match, I think that [we are ready] in all possible details during the match," the Ghana coach said ahead of Sunday's match.

"Maybe the match will go for 120 minutes, maybe penalties or 90 minutes. We don’t know but we be ready for everything,” he said.

Stevanovic says both sides will play to their strengths as there is very little to change.

"After the three games, it is difficult to hide something. We know each other very well. We try to prepare well to give our best."

Ghana need to beat Tunisia to reach the semi-final where they would play Zambia on Wednesday.
