We Are Fed Up With NDC

---Volta cries out to Nana
The people of Volta Region, the “World Bank” of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have cried out to the 2012 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to save them from the hardship been unleashed on them by the NDC government led by Prof. Atta Mills for the past three years.
Narrating their story, they said since the NDC took office after the 2008 general elections, all the promise they were given by the NDC has never see the light of the day but rather their lives has been like hell in the region which was known has the NDC stronghold.
They confess that both ex-Presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor governments did well than what they are experiencing now with Prof. Mills government.
All these came to notice when the NPP flagbearer took his third face of his listening tour to the region.
The tour took Nana Addo to Ho, Sokode, Kpeve, Have, Hohoe and their surrounding areas and in all these towns the people trooped to the streets to meet him and could not hide their sentiments about the bitterness and frustrations they face in the Mills government.
At Anyinawase, an elder of the community, Fo Divine, said "we will no longer put all our eggs in one basket. We are happy that Nana has come here today and we want to assure him that the child who shows respect to his father is shown back same."
At Kpeve, the poeple told Nana Addo that they have been deceived by the NDC.
"All the promises they made to us have not been fulfilled and we are fed up with them," said Davi Esi.
The jubilant youth who were drumming and singing victory songs for Nana Addo noted that, they will not allow themselves to be used by the NDC for their political gains and later dumped them to survive on their own while those who used them enjoy the booties.
They said "we the youth in the Volta region will no longer allow ourselves to be fooled. We worked hard for the NDC to make sure Prof. Mills won the elections but he has since forgotten us. We will not repeat the mistake of the past."
They assured Nana Addo that, they will go round the villages and tell their people to ignore the lies and propaganda of the NDC and rather vote for the one whose party brought us developmental projects.
The third face of the tour also took Nana to Buem, Jasikan, Biakoye, Worawora, Nkonya and Vakpo where similar sentiments and concerns were brought to his attention.
He also paid visits to the Jasikan College of Education, Bueman SHS and Worawora SHS where he reminded the students of his commitment to provide free Senior High School education for the youth and people of Ghana.
