Prince Tagoe fired by Bursaspor for non-performance

Footy-ghana.com can confirm that Black Stars striker Prince Tagoe has had his contract terminated by Turkish top flight side Bursaspor for non-performance.

Tagoe joined Bursaspor at the start of this season but managed only 1 goal in 396 minutes of football.

This restricted Tagoe’s appearances and over the festive period, Bursaspor, currently lying in 12th place in the Turkish top flight, decided to release him and Argentine striker Federico Insua, who has since joined Velez Sarsfield in his homeland.

The development leaves Tagoe without a club.

The ex-Hoffenheim striker has been named in Ghana’s provisional squad for the upcoming African Nations Cup and Black Stars head coach Goran Stevanovic has come under fire for selecting Tagoe, who has been out of form for some time now.
