Rahim keen to get back to his best

Rahim Ayew is desperate to get back to his best form as he looks for a route back into the national side.

The first son of Ghana legend Abedi Ayew has been rocked by injuries this year after making the move from Zamalek in Egypt to Lierse in Belgium.

And in that period he has had to watch as his junior brothers Andre and Jordan battle their way through the national team.

"I had injury worries, came back and suffered a setback again so its been difficult in that regard," he says. "My first priority is to enjoy my football again, do well at club level and if it comes with a national team call up then that would be great."

Ayew represented Ghana at the 2010 Nations Cup in Angola and is confident his two brothers would add quality to the Black Stars in January at the next Cup of Nations.
