Afful's Barca hopes dashed

Harrison Afful's hopes of playing Lionel Messi's Barcelona have been dashed after his Esperance side lost their World Club Championship semi-final.
The Tunisians went into the meeting with Asia champions Al Saad knowing a win would set up a semi final meeting against European champions Barcelona.
But they failed to get that losing 1-2 in Japan earlier on Sunday.
Afful was a second half substitute playing a key role down the right side as the Tunisians sought to fight their way back into the game.
Afful, who is keen to get into the Ghana side, delivered some telling balls into the box, but Esperance's finishing was just not on.
