The time has come again for Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko and Nana Akufo-Addo’s Akyem-led New Patriotic Party (NPP) to strike at His Excellency President John Atta Mills, as the picture becomes clearer by the day that the NPP is coasting for another defeat, come next year.
As Ghanaians prepare to go to the polls next year, and the picture becomes clearer that President Mills will be given another nod to have another bite of the Better Ghana cherry, Gabby and his acolytes are about to go on a stinking propaganda binge, attacking President Mills, left, right and centre.
Especially after President Atta Mills recently met UN Secretary General in New York and assured the international community that the likes of Akufo-Addo will not be allowed to make their “ugly noises” see the light of day and to turn Ghana into “Rwanda” and or “Afghanistan”, Gabby, Ken Kuranchie, Sammy Awuku, and scores of the NPP serial callers, have decided to run the sitting President down.
In particular, as President Atta Mills “rests his bones” by taking a short leave in New York after 11 months of hard work in Ghana’s countryside tours inspecting the heavy works his Government was accomplishing, Gabby, Ken kuranchie, Sammy Awuku, Carlos Von Brazi and co, are planning to start putting out falsehood about the whereabouts of President Mills.
From what The Informer picks up, Gabby and his army are going to put out silly stories about President Mills having been rushed to Cuba for Medicare.
According to The Informer’s strong links within the NPP machinery, Gabby and Ken Kuranchie are the ones going to lead the misinformation drive; hoping to divert attention from the way Akufo-Addo is struggling to survive.
Indeed, the likes of Richmond Keelson, under the instructions of Gabby, on Monday, attempted to no avail to propagate the falsehood on Asempa FM’s Ekoo Sii Sen programme.
Unfortunately for Gabby and his group, the majority of Ghanaians do not have space in their minds to assimilate any dim-witted story that will be churned out by the NPP’s vile propaganda machinery, as regards the health status of His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills.
What Ghanaians love about President Mills, is the fact that he does not smoke wee and sniff cocaine; and they are not prepared to vote for a President who will wake up every morning with a heavy wee cloud of smoke hanging over his head.
Indeed, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko is better off thinking about how to help Nana Akufo-Addo manage the defeat that is coming his way, before he (Gabby) retires from politics as he promises to do after the NPP’s defeat, come December 2012.
