Odotei, Fianoo set to enter GHALCA Chairmanship race

Footyghana.com can confirm that King Faisal Chief Executive Vincent Sowah Odotei and Ashanti Gold boss Kudjo Fianoo will pick up their nomination forms this afternoon to contest for the post of Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association.

So far, the interim GHALCA Chairman, Alhaji Ali Raji and former Player Status Committee chairman Jones Alhassan Abu have indicated their intentions to run for the same post, but with Odotei and Fianoo entering the fray, the stage is set for an exciting race for who succeeds Emmanuel Adotey, who resigned earlier this year.

Odotei was disqualified from contesting for the Ghana Football Association Presidency earlier this year, whilst Fianoo, a former Adminstrative Secretary of GHALCA and team manager of the Black Stars, lost his bid to retain his seat on the GFA’s Executive Committee recently.
