Crentsil Hits Back At Okraku

The Chief Executive of former champions Hearts of Oak Fred Crentsil has hit back at Wassaman United General Manager Kurt Okraku for criticizing match referee Charles Nii Tagoe.

He told footyghana.com that he is surprised that Okraku could describe the Berekum -based official as the twelfth man for Hearts of Oak, adding that Nii Tagoe got key decisions right.

‘I am very surprised that Kurt is slamming the referee like that. He got key decisions right and from where I was sitting, the penalty shout that Wassaman United were claiming was not a good one. The referee was right not to award the penalty.’

Crentsil also told footyghana.com that Hearts of Oak were taking each match at a time, noting that winning the Glo Premier League will crown the club’s centenary celebrations.

‘We are taking every game as it comes; one at a time. We want to do well enough to win the league, so that our centenary celebrations will be properly crowned
