Clottey not alarmed by goal drought

Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey insists he is not bothered by his inability to score goals this season.
The 24-year-old former Goal King has failed to get on the score sheets in three league appearances raising doubts of his competence as the leading marksman of the champions.
But the ex Great Olympics striker says he is least bothered by his scoring rate this season.
“Personally I am not happy but at the same time not shy about my goal scoring record this season,” he told MTNFootball.com.
“Yes I have not scored in three games but every striker goes through such a phase so it’s not a problem at all for me.
“Defenders are getting more and more mindful of dangerous strikers and therefore credits must also be given to them.”
Clottey however believes it is a matter of time for his to find his scoring boots especially since playing around a set of new players.
“We have some new players in the team and we keep learning to play with each other so I am sure very soon we have been acquainted with each other’s play the goals will come,” he added.
