Baba Armando Out Of Action Due To Knee Injury

Footyghana.com can confirm that former Black Stars forward Baba ‘Armando’ Adamu will be unable to play football for some months because of a long standing knee injury.
According to footyghana.com investigations, Adamu had fluid drained from his knee recently and showed a sample to Berekum Chelsea head coach Steve Pollack at training on Thursday.
Our sources reveal that Pollack studied the sample, which was brownish in colour, indicating internal bleeding in the knee.
He then told Adamu to return to the doctors for further treatment.
Indications are that Adamu is suffering from long term arthritis of the knee, an injury which might have cost him a place in Ghana’s 2006 World Cup squad.
The former Swedru All Blacks and Asante Kotoko forward is yet to fully register for Berekum Chelsea, but his injury is likely to keep him out until the start of the second round at best.
