Ghana squad leave for Nigeria game

The Ghana squad will arrive in London Sunday afternoon to prepare for the international friendly against rivals, Nigeria on Tuesday.

Goran Stevanovic is taking with him 19 players for the game in Watford after the squad left Sudan via Kenya for the 8-hour flight.

Ghana on Saturday qualified for the 2012 African Nations Cup in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea following a away 2-0 win over Sudan.

Both sides were scheduled to have played a friendly on August 9 but hours before kick off, the game had to be canceled at the instance of the London Metropolitan Police following widespread unrest in certain parts of London and England.
