Herbert Addo Appointed Wassaman United Head Coach

Former Local Black Stars and Aduana Stars coach Herbert Addo is now the head coach of newly promoted Wassaman United.
The club’s new General Manager, Kurt Okraku, told footyghana.com that Addo was brought in to ensure that the Tarkwa based club has a good season in the coming Premier League season, adding that the veteran coach will assist in recruiting players to beat Friday’s registration deadline.
‘His experience will be valuable to us, especially in recruiting players before the deadline on Friday. He will oversee training today and run the rule over the existing players, as well as overseeing the recruitment of certain players.
Okraku also told footyghana.com that players surplus to requirements at both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are being targeted to steady the ship at Wassaman.
Herbert Addo guided Aduana Stars to the league title in his first attempt but was fired at the end of the just ended season after differences with Aduana Stars acting Chief Executive Kofi Manu.
