“I Will Never Insult Rawlings Again” – Kennedy Agyepong

Kennedy Akompreko Agyepong, NPP MP for Assin North, and the most insulting politician in Ghana, has openly vowed not to hurl insults at former President Rawlings any longer.

In the wake of the rather scandalous story that hit the news stands last week about a certain Bishop(?) Obinim and his anti-Christian antics (especially his open confession that he used some supernatural powers to make a baby invalid), the insulting NPP MP was full of praise for President Rawlings because during his time, he dealt mercilessly with such charlatans masquerading as men of God. According to the abusive Assin North MP, he yearns for the days that the Rawlings Administration dealt mercilessly with such characters.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Edwasu Nsem last Thursday, Kennedy Agyepong said that there is no way the likes of Bishop (?) Obinim would be walking around as a free person if Rawlings were in-charge.

“Adakabre, I now understand the thinking behind what Rawlings did. In those days, some of us insulted him because we did not think far enough to understand that he was doing the right thing” Kennedy Agyepong said. “Apparently, Rawlings was doing the right thing because there is no way people like Obinim should be walking free” Kennedy Agyepong added. Sounding very livid Kennedy Agyepong swore that he will never insult President Rawlings because he was saving the nation from the hands of the likes of Obinim by cracking the whip.

“Adakabre, I will never insult Rawlings again” Kennedy Agyepong said.

It cannot be lost on those who were old enough at the time how Chairman Rawlings dealt mercilessly with a certain pastor in Kumasi who was working against the tenets of the Revolution with his anti-Ghana sermons.

In like manner, Chairman Rawlings dealt mercilessly with a certain lunatic who named himself Dzorwulu Jesus and was making his equally lunatic followers drink his urine.

It would be recalled that earlier on in the week and on the same Adom FM programme, the selfsame Kennedy Agyepong eulogised coup d’états; yearning for another “Rawlings”.

According to Kennedy Agyepong, after all the years of hurling insults at Rawlings, he now understands the motivating factor behind the 31st December uprising and is hoping that another “Rawlings” will emerge very soon because in his estimation, President Atta Mills and the NDC is deceiving and failing Ghanaians.

Suddenly, Rawlings has become Kennedy Agyepong’s hero?

As the saying goes, “wonders shall never cease”.
