Made in Africa Investment Company launches Website

Bolgatanga, July 28, GNA - Made in Africa Investment Company on Thursday launched a Website for small scale business people in the Upper East Region to help market their products and services.

The Website dubbed, "Bolgatanga manufacturers.com/serviceproviders", would involve tradesmen and women including basket weavers and leather workers, hairdressers, mechanics and tailors.

The Chief Executive (CEO) of Made in Africa Investment Company Limited, Mr Emmanuel Chijoke Mbigbo, said a similar Website had been launched in Tamale and Wa.

He said the ultimate aim of his outfit was to create a website called,

"ghanamanufacturers.com and Ghana serviceproviders.com". Mr Mgbigbo said Made in Africa Company Limited had displayed Made in Africa goods

and services to the rest of the world and that had increased sales of manufacturers and

service providers in Africa. He said the three northern regions were endowed with resources and potentials and

that the major problem hindering the development of the area was lack of market. Mr Joshua Azure, the Regional Director of Ministry of Trade and Industry, said the

Trade Ministry was embarking upon Investor Sector Support Programme and Trade Sector

Support Programme and with the launch of the Website it would help promote business

among small scale business people.
