Pappoe keen on Vice Presidency

Fred Pappoe is keen on another term as vice president of the Ghana Football Association after he won another term on the executive committee of the football controlling body.

Pappoe has secured a seat on the executive committee of the GFA but must wait to see whether he will be elected by the same committee as its vice president for another term.

"Obviously I am interested in carrying on as the vice president, but I first want to wait until the regional elections are done and we have a full Executive Committee.

"But ultimately, if the president feels I must continue to serve in my capacity as his deputy, I will gladly do so," he told GNA Sports.

The 22 members of the executive committee are mandated to elect a vice president on it's first meeting and Pappoe is keen to bag that.

He also believes the manner of his elections unto the executive committee is tribute to the quality of his work in the last term.
