Spare public office holders the insults- MCE

Ho, May 31, GNA - Mr Isaac Kodobisah, Ho Municipal Chief Executive, has appealed to those opposed to public officials to spare them the constant insults and offer constructive suggestions instead. He said this at the inauguration of Unit Committees in the Municipal area. Mr Kodobisah said the municipal area would be better served if those who know better helped public officials to lay a strong foundation for development so that if that 93better person comes" he or she would have something concrete to build on.

He said if it is just 93insults and insults then where are we going.? We need all of you on board for the development of the Municipality." "On many occasions your telephone would ring and you would reply with courtesy only to be greeted with insults, but as a public official you have to restrain yourself" he told the Unit Committee members. Mr Kodobisah said there are many development projects going on in the municipal area not just Ho but many people do not seem to appreciate these.

He said the Assembly would therefore periodically make available to Unit Committees lists of completed, on-going and proposed projects for the information of the public.
