BA CEO commends Bechem United FC

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of B.A. United FC, Mr Ransford Antwi, has commended Bechem United Football Club for gaining promotion from the Middle League to play in the elite Premier League in the next soccer season.

Speaking with the GNA Sports in Sunyani on Tuesday, Mr Antwi said: “On behalf of the management and the playing body of B.A. United, a First Division club based in Sunyani in the Brong-Ahafo Region, I wish to express our profound appreciation to Bechem United F/C for its great achievement in the just-ended national First Division Middle League.”

Mr Antwi wished Bechem United a hearty welcome to the elite division and urged them to prepare well to be able to approach the 2011/2012 league season with all seriousness so that the team can be retained and not relegated at the end of the season.

He praised Mr Kingsley Osei Bonsu, (aka Kofi Zico), CEO of Bechem United and Mr King Agama, the club owner, noting tht the club’s achievement was a complete glory not only to the people of Bechem but whole of the Brong-Ahafo Region.

It will be recalled that before reaching the enviable position in this year’s national first division competition, Bechem United passed through all their three matches without a defeat.

They drew one-one with Unity F/C to split the points, whipped Bazooka F/C 5-1 and defeated Guan United 2-0.
