Addo demands clean end to Glo League

Aduana Stars coach Herbert Addo is imploring clubs in the Glo Premier League to play it clean in the final two games of the competition as fears grow that clubs are easing up.

With the League Championships determined and two relegation spots to be decided in the final two games of the season, there is growing concern from the pattern of results that clubs are not giving their all.

Seven clubs are still involved in the fight to avoid relegation and while he did not mention it directly, Addo suggested all was far from well with the competitiveness of the League.

"In Ghana we make a lot of mistakes," he told JoyfM. "We wait to the last minute. Now that it's only two matches to play people have been talking, instigating.

“It's not good for football. It doesn't allow the technical men and players to concentrate. I will advise my people. If you want to survive you must play. If you don't organize your home, and ask for help, I won’t. It's not in my dictionary."
