700m To Watch England-Ghana Friendly?

More than 700 million people around the globe will have access to watch the Ghana-England encounter fixed for 29 March at Wembley.

The England FA will sell TV and Radio broadcasting rights to a high number of organizations around the globe with the exception of South Africa, which is controlled by Pay-TV outfit Super Sports.

Ghana’s right for the historic match has been sold to the Ghanaian communication company Global Media Alliance.

Organizers Mel Goldberg Law claim the match would be watched by many people than any friendly football match involving England.

Ghana gained international recognition after reaching the last eight at the 2010 Fifa World Cup finals in South Africa while England were flops.

England played Nigeria and Cameroon at the old Wembley in 1994 and 1997 respectively.

Ghana would become the first black African country to play at the new Wembley and the first time a visiting country will be supported by more than 20,000 fans.
