How the government of Ghana handles the senseless killing of innocent unharmed Ghanaians will reflect how it values the lives of ordinary Ghanaians. At no point should the government view it as an attack on Ghanaian tomato traders. It was an attack on Ghana. The terrorists knew exactly what they were doing. They knew the trucks had Ghanaians on board yet attacked them. The question is why?
The situation is similar to what happened on October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked innocent Israeli citizens. To this day, Israel is still avenging the people who were killed. The government of Ghana should send a strong signal to those responsible that you cannot kill innocent Ghanaians and go unpunished. As it stands I don't see the government of Ghana doing anything significant about the situation because they don't value the ordinary Ghanaian. But the almighty is watching.
