Asunafo Community Bank assists women

Goaso (B/A), Dec. 20, GNA - The Asunafo Community Bank Limited at Kukuom in the Brong-Ahafo Region has given out a total of GHC109,124.89 to about 304 women as loans to expand their businesses. This came to light when the Manager of the Bank, Mr Evans Opoku-Bobie interacted with the media to explain the bank's social responsibility and what it had done so far for the people in the bank's operational area, at Goaso at the weekend. Mr. Opoku-Bobie said it was the determination of the bank to improve the living conditions of people in the area. He said the institution would also support farmers with loans and input= s to enable them to increase their crop yield. He added that the Bank would continue to support its customers to enable them to contribute to national development, and appealed to those of them who had benefited from loan facilities to endeavour to pay back to enable other customers to also access the facility.
