Chief of Defence Staff builds ICT Centre

Half Assini (W/R), Nov. 11, GNA - An Information Communication Technology Complex (ICT) constructed by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS),=

Lieutenant General Peter Augustine Blay, has been inaugurated at Half Ass= ini Senior High School. The complex, equipped with computers and their accessories, was inaugurated as part of activities to mark the 50th anniversary celebratio= n of the school.

It was financed by some friends of the CDS, after an appeal made by him. The Minister for Education, Mr Alex Tettey-Enyo inaugurated the GH¢220,000 facility, which includes library and an Internet Caf=E9. The ICT Centre would train Senior High School students in the area a= s well as facilitate teaching and learning.
