Ghanaian forward Abdul Aziz Yakubu scored to salvage a point for Rio Ave in their 1-1 draw against Vizela in the Liga Portugal's Round 31 fixture.
It was the Ghanaian forward's sixth goal of the campaign following his return to the club in January from China.
Aziz has proven to be a key player for Rio Ave since joining the team from Wuhan Three Towns, where he scored 15 goals in 23 appearances.
The 25-year-old opened the scoring for Rio Ave in the opening minutes of the game before Vizela equalized through Samuel Essende in the 37th minute.
The two teams shared the spoils after regulation time following the first-half goals.
Abdul Aziz has six goals in 15 appearances for Rio Ave this season.
His fellow countryman, Emmanuel Boateng, was also involved in the game.
Rio Ave are currently placed 11th on the league table with 32 points after this result.
