Members of IAA to hold Fifth Annual Internal Audit Forum

Accra, July 28, GNA - Members of Internal Audit Agency (IAA) would hold their two-day Fifth Annual Internal Audit Forum on August 10-11 in Accra.

A statement issued in Accra on Tuesday and signed by Mr Lawrence Kwarteng-Ashia, Head of Public Relations, said the forum is under the theme: "Quality Assurance and Improvement in the Public Sector: The Role of Internal Auditing".

It said the forum was being organised in pursuance of the Internal Audit Agency Act which mandated it to co-ordinate, facilitate and provide quality assurance for internal audit activities within the Ministries, Departments and Agencies and the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies.

The statement said the forum under the patronage of President John Evans Atta Mills, would be attended by Ministers of State, Parliamentarians, Chief Directors, Chief Executives, Human Resource Managers, Directors of Finance and Administration, Heads of Internal Audit and other stakeholders.
