Asantes Have Right to Run for President --- Pianim Told

"Political Fire" ignited from far away abroad over allegation that prominent Economist, Kwame Pianim has urged the NPP not to elect an Asante as a Presidential Candidate to erase the impression that the Party is an Asante Party.

Political Guru and former Ghanaian-American Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate, "Osagyefo Dr" Kwame Appiah Boateng "Kwame Mayor", said that instead of the Economist Kwame Pianim urging the NPP to give opportunities to non-Akans such as Gas, Dagombas, Ewes, Frafras, and Sisalas, etc, to become Presidential Flagbearers, his statement has a tendency to seriously violate the Natural Right, Constitutional Rights, Human Rights and Civil Rights of qualified Asantes to become President of Ghana.

"NPP should rid itself of the perception that it is an "Akan Party", and not necessarily, an "Asante Party", the "People's Mayor" publicly told Kwame Pianim.

"Asantes also have the same right like every Ghanaian brother or sister to run for President", said "Osagyefo Dr" Kwame Mayor, an Asante Royal who aspires to become President of Ghana someday.

"Why should other Akans have the right to become NPP Flagbearers (in Kwame Pianim's World), but not Asantes ?", "Osagyefo Dr" Kwame Mayor publicly asked Pianim.

Meanwhile, after convincing himself beyond every reasonable doubt that it was Major (Retired) Boakye Djan, ex-AFRC Military Spokesman who ordered the public execution of Asante Legend and Hero, Okatakyie Akwasi Amankwa Afrifa --- Royal Politician and former Ghanaian-American Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate, "Osagyefo Dr" Kwame Appiah Boateng, popularly known by Ghanaians around the World as "Kwame Mayor", says that "Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings and "Osagyefo Dr" Kwame Mayor's Presidential Ticket --- after His Excellency, President John Evans Atta Mills has officially and democratically served his term in office, is a "tantalizing idea" and too hot !!!.

"Osagyefo Dr" Kwame Mayor blamed Kufuor's controlled NPP for their lack of foresight in tapping his extraordinary talents for political use.

"Like former President John Agyekum Kufuor who stole several of my strategic ideas for almost eight years, and yet cowardly denied me the chance to serve Mother Ghana, the NPP still lacks "Strategic Leadership essential for the challenges of the New Millennium".

" They know in their hearts that I am one of the best Politicians God Almighty ever created in Ghana and the World Community, yet due to lack of foresight, they have never tapped my talents although for many years, I fought for Democracy, Freedom and Liberty with them".

Yet ironically, even though I have been attacking Rawlings' government for years, it was during Rawlings' NDC when Spio Gabrah was being recalled as an Ambassador for a Ministerial position when Ghana's Military Attache in Washington, D.C, Mr. Kobia, called and discussed with me if I was interested in replacing Spio Gabrah as Ghana's Ambassador to USA.", said the Politician who tells the truth and nothing but the truth.

"And during the 2008 Presidential and Parliamentary elections, some Ashanti NDC Executives invited me into the residency of the then NDC Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr. Ohene Agyekum who is now, His Excellency, Ohene Agyekum, Ghana's Ambassador to USA --- The NDC Folks who invited me, praised my Political talents and asked me to stand on the 2012 NDC ticket at Nhyiaeso, Ashanti Region for them.", revealed the "People's Mayor".

"In the presence of Mr. Ohene Agyekum, the then NDC Ashanti Regional Chairman, I was asked to endorse the Presidential ticket of Professor John Evans Atta Mills, then NDC Presidential Flagbearer and in exchange, get a position [if] the NDC won", "Osagyefo Dr" Kwame Mayor said.

"The Ashanti Regional NDC Executives who invited me to endorse President John Evans Atta Mills' 2008 ticket were very matured, scholarly and understanding when I told them that I have been criticising Rawlings' Military era regimes for years and that as a Moral Principle, I would continue to do so", "Osagyefo Dr" Kwame Mayor, the 2004/2008 CPP Parliamentary Candidate for Nhiaeso Constituency, further revealed.

"I informed some of the CPP Executives about the fact that some NDC Executives in Ashanti Region had praised my political talents and invited me to the residency of Mr. Ohene Agyekum, former NDC Ashanti Regional Chairman", said the Centrist Politician.

"Osagyefo Dr" Kwame Mayor briefly attended School with Ghana's Director of BNI and member of PNDC-turned NDC, Mr. Yaw Donkor at "Krasec" in Kete Krachi, before attending "Great Koss" with such Ghana greats as His Lordship, Baffoe Bonnie, Supreme Court Judge and Hon. Dr. Oteng Adjei, Minister of Energy who were all his Seniors and his Classmate at Great Koss --- the disgraced Stephen Asamoah Boateng, alias "Asaabe", who turned into "Great Judas" during Kufuor's era.

"Folks, the present day NPP Presidential Aspirants are behaving like the proverbial Konongo Kaya. They know in their hearts that Kwame Mayor can deliver for them and yet because of lack of Political Vision, they have woefully failed to tap my talents and ideas.
