Oguaa soccer fans jubilate over Black Stars victory

Cape Coast, June 14, GNA - Soccer fans in the Cape Coast Metropolis on Sunday defied a downpour and took to the street to celebrate the Black Stars 1-0 victory over the Serbian National Team at FIFA World Cup tournament in South Africa.

Soon after the match ended, fans who were mostly clad in the national colours and holding flags poured unto the streets chanting and dancing to brass band music.

They paraded through the principal streets of the Metropolis and were joined by horn- tooting drivers who have decorated their vehicles with the national colours, creating traffic jam.

The usual busy Sunday market at Kotoka and Kotokuraba was interrupted briefly as most of the traders left their wares to join the jubilant crowd who danced to brass band and "Kolomashie" music.
